God is, I am not

This is Day 26 of my 40 day Lenten Blog.

The biggest barrier between myself and God is my pride and vain-glory. I have this self-delusion that I am something that I am not, that I am the center of my own universe. I must learn to remember that I am not the center of any universe and that if I matter at all it is only because of the grace, mercy, and love of God. With that in mind, today's blog will mostly consist of today's prayer.

Today's prayer:

Lord help me to remember that You are the center of the universe.

I am not.

You are the creator of all existence.

I am not.

You are the light of the world.

I am not.

You are the King of all.

I am not.

You are worthy of praise and worship.

I am not

You are good and holy.

I am not.

You are full of glory.

I am not.

You are the Savior of mankind.

I am not.

You are the mover of the mountains.

I am not.

You are the healer of the sick.

I am not.

You are perfect.

I am not.

You are God.

I am not.

Amen.
